– William Shakespeare
Fire, iron and experience
Why is it that the simplest questions in life are the hardest to answer? Who are you? Where are you going? What's the plan? So it goes for corporate positioning, also known as "branding."
Cows are branded. And some of the worlds' best products and services are branded so well that their company name becomes THE brand for an entire product line.
Think Kleenex. In the minds of most consumers, facial tissues are Kleenex -- not the other way around. Volvo may not be the safest car you can own but it sure owns the perception that it is the safest. Ditto for FedEx. FedEx owns the word overnight in the express mail business -- it is not simply one carrier who delivers mail overnight.
Look, there are a lot of folks out there who claim to be "branding experts." And some of them are quite good. Here at The Bawmann Group, we'll show you actual roadmaps taken by big and small companies who've relied on us to create innovative brands from scratch, companies who've relied on us to help them more clearly define their brand and companies we've helped to create critical shifts within the market to ensure long term success.
