About Us
Brad Bawmann
I fell into communications after an internship with the London bureau of United Press International. It was either journalism or medical school. Most of the time I'm happy for the road I've chosen.
I wrote and reported for a Denver weekly newspaper for a couple of years before finding a way to combine my love of words with medicine. Lucky for me, a great person at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center created a position that would allow me to be CU's science writer. I thrived at the University until I was recruited away by a competitor to develop a comprehensive PR and marketing program for a three-hospital system in Denver.
That system closed hospitals and merged with others resulting in Denver's largest health care provider, a 10-hospital system with more than 10,000 employees, now known as HealthONE. Along the way, they asked me to lobby at the State Capitol while managing all of the PR, marketing and advertising for the company.
While the corporate world was extremely rewarding, I couldn't escape my dream of owning a business. I looked into coffee carts, refinishing hardwood floors and dozens of franchises before settling on what I knew best: integrated marketing communications. Now, with nearly 12 years under our belt, I feel like we're just getting started. Despite tough economic times, our business continues to thrive largely because of our team and the trust of our clients.
What do you do really well? I multitask with the best of them and I love to play Secret Santa.
What do you love about your work? Watching these infinitely talented team members make our clients' businesses grow! Everyday, I'm blessed to awake to new challenges, new problems and the opportunity to bring honesty and integrity to our small corner of the world.
