What Is the Status of Behavioral Health Care in Colorado?

The Bawmann Group was honored to help Advancing Colorado’s Mental Health Care (ACMHC) release their report findings at a very successful event which took place at the Denver Art Museum on December 7th. More than 160 people attended, including funders, grantees, media and other local partners.
The Status of Behavorial Healthcare in Colorado provides comprehensive information about the current landscape of public and private mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) care in Colorado. This report is the culmination of close to a decade of intensive work and is available online at www.ColoradoMentalHealth.org.

TBG Team Member Featured in AHA Journal
Kudos to TBG Vice President, Maggie Spain, who recently co-authored an article which was released by the American Humane Association: Protecting Children Vol. 26, No 2. The article highlights the success of Colorado’s Be There for Your Kids campaign in engaging fathers and caseworkers and promoting the importance of paternal involvement. Fathers are an often overlooked yet extremely vital part of a healthy and well adjusted child’s life.
